Delhi to Mumbai is one of India’s longest and busiest intercity relocation routes. At 1,400 km, your goods spend 3–5 days on the road crossing Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. This is not a move you hand to an amateur — it demands highway-grade packing, GPS-tracked dedicated vehicles, transit insurance, and a mover who has run this route hundreds of times. We have been handling Delhi-to-Mumbai relocations for over 15 years, for IT professionals, corporate transfers, families, and businesses. This guide covers real 2026 pricing, the exact process, area-wise Mumbai delivery details, and what to watch out for on India’s most popular long-distance move.

All prices include packing, labour, tolls, and basic insurance. GST invoice provided.
Volume — the single biggest factor. A 1BHK has 40–60 items; a 3BHK has 150–200+. More volume means a bigger truck or a dedicated container.
Transport mode — dedicated truck (your goods only) costs more than shared/part-load (your goods share space with other shipments). Dedicated is faster and safer; shared is cheaper.
Floor level at both ends — high-floor loading or delivery without a lift adds labour cost.
Packing complexity — homes with many fragile items, antiques, or specialty items (piano, gym equipment) need more material and time.
Season — April–June and October–November are peak transfer seasons. Mid-month, mid-week moves in off-peak months get the best rates.
Andheri, Goregaon, Malad, Borivali (Western Suburbs): Most common delivery zone for Delhi relocators. Good road access from the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway entry point. High-rise societies with standard lift and parking rules. We coordinate with society management 2–3 days before delivery.
Powai, Vikhroli, Bhandup (Central/Eastern): IT corridor area popular with tech professionals relocating from Delhi. Hiranandani and other premium societies have strict shifting rules similar to Gurgaon. We handle all coordination.
Bandra, Worli, Lower Parel (South Mumbai/Central): Premium locations with older buildings and newer towers. Narrow access roads in some areas require smaller vehicles for last-mile delivery. We plan vehicle size based on your exact address.
Navi Mumbai (Kharghar, Vashi, Panvel): Planned city with wide roads and easy access. Modern societies with standard shifting protocols. Slightly further from the highway entry but well-connected.
Thane: Mix of old Thane areas and new developments (Ghodbunder Road, Majiwada). Good access from the eastern express highway corridor.
A 1,400 km move is fundamentally different from a 30 km NCR shift. Your goods face 3–5 days of continuous highway vibration, temperature changes from North India’s dry heat to Mumbai’s coastal humidity, and multiple toll and checkpoint stops where the truck brakes hard. Every item needs to be packed to survive this, not just wrapped for a short ride.
Electronics: Custom foam-lined hardboard crating, not just bubble wrap. Power cords removed and packed separately. TVs packed upright in reinforced cartons. Fridge and washing machine secured upright with ratchet straps.
Wooden furniture: Dismantled, each piece blanket-wrapped with foam corners. Legs and joints get extra padding because highway jolts concentrate force on these points. Reassembled at delivery by our crew.
Glass and fragile items: Triple-layer protection — tissue paper inner wrap, bubble wrap middle layer, foam peanut fill in double-walled cartons. These cartons are always loaded on top, never underneath anything, and marked on all six sides.
Waterproofing: All cartons get an outer layer of stretch film to protect against rain during transit. Mumbai’s monsoon season (June–September) makes this essential — we waterproof year-round as a standard.
